Portaramp, part of the Kee Safety Group, manufactures specialist access ramps for rail, public transport, commercial buildings and vehicles across Europe. They are a market leader in access ramp solutions. Their products sit in a heavily regulated environment, sold into organisations such as train operators, hospitals, schools and local authorities.
Brief
Portaramp’s legacy WordPress site had grown messy. Product information lived in inconsistent templates, navigation hid critical content, and simple updates required developer intervention. The brief: rebuild the site so the marketing team could manage it in-house, while giving buyers a clear route to the right ramp for each use case.
From legacy tangle to clean build
We removed a cluttered mix of page templates and rebuilt Portaramp’s site architecture from first principles. We rationalised the content, created focused product and sector pages. We designed a new component library in Bricks so new pages can be assembled quickly, staying on brand, and keeping website assets organised and lean.
