Lighthouse Safety is one of many members of the Kee Safety group we have been lucky to work with. This client is based on the other side of the pond in Wisconsin, USA! They are fall protection experts and offer expert solutions based on this.
Lighthouse Safety is also very proud of its training scheme, ensuring that the proper fall protection standards are met and understood. They offer competent person training and general safety courses, from as little as two hours to 16-hour courses.
We were tasked with creating a brand new website for the latest Kee Systems acquisition, with a brand new look and feel but one that was easy to maintain and update.
The Lighthouse Safety team came to us prepared; they provided us with a complete breakdown of their new brand guidelines and two full designs for how they wanted the site to look.
The major challenge with this site involved specific CSS. We had to manipulate pieces of text into correct positions based on angular dividers placed between the header and footer, and it had to behave responsively. Also part of the design specification was the unique solution headings, which had to act responsively based on screen size and with some angular divisions.
We also had to ensure that the site was always grabbing your attention with its specific visuals and the right amount of call-to-actions - or CTAs if you will.
This was undoubtedly one of the trickier sites we’ve had to build, it was a lot more hand-written than some of our other projects, but we are proud of the result.
The URL structure of Lighthouse Safety was changed to reflect another of the brand guidelines, a clear hierarchical structure and relationship between the pages & the categories they fit into.
We produced a menu system that correctly displayed the critical aspects that Lighthouse Safety wanted to promote. We ensured the site was clearly emphasising their services, solutions and the applications of their work while ensuring their excelling training scheduling system was accessible from the home page.
Since launch, we have run a targeted Google Ads campaign for lead generation, which has led to a steady flow of monthly enquiries for the Easi Dec brand.
Our SEO strategy involves monthly keyword research, targeting low hanging fruit keywords, and improving search traffic for relevant industry keywords. this is achieved through a mix of on-page optimisation and writing fresh monthly keyword optimised content.
