To maximize their revenue growth potential and remain competitive in today’s market, Movado invested in a software training app that helped retailers stay up-to-date with the latest trends and strategies for selling their products effectively.

The Challenge
Movado faced the challenge of training their retail stores and ensuring third-party retailers had the latest product information and marketing stories for all the range of watches from high street to luxury.
With many individual watch retailers around the globe, Movado needed a way to quickly, efficiently and reliably provide these stores with the necessary information they needed to ensure their customers receive an accurate and quality brand experience every time.

The Solution
To resolve Movado’s challenge of training their retail stores and to ensure third-party retailers had the latest product information and marketing stories, we created a bespoke web application based on CakePHP for rapid app development, using a front-end framework for further speed and cost efficiency.
Additionally, we developed multimedia training for store personnel that included interactive quizzes with scores reported back to Movado’s main login and each store’s main login, enabling visibility into which stores or areas need more support in training.
This solution met the goal of providing up-to-date product knowledge and brand messaging, which helped retailers recommend the products to customers.
