Alex Jones Dentistry runs two busy practices in Barnsley and Penistone with a strong reputation for complex implant surgery. The practice is part of a small group of UK clinicians who place advanced cases, such as zygomatic implants, alongside full-arch and cosmetic work. The clinics combine routine family dentistry with a heavy volume of referred implant and restorative cases.

Brief

After a full visual rebrand with PDC and a brand consultant, Alex Jones Dentistry needed a site and marketing set-up that matched the level of their clinical work. The goal: position the clinics as the first choice for complex implant and cosmetic cases in South Yorkshire, while keeping family patients engaged.

Our remit covered a new WordPress build, content and UX, local SEO for high-intent implant and cosmetic terms, and always-on social media for Facebook and Instagram to support referrals and brand visibility.

Challenge

Dental implants sit in an aggressive search landscape with national brands bidding on every high-value term. The clinic also had a relatively fresh domain and two locations with different catchments. We needed to win local visibility for complex implant work without diluting the family practice message.

That meant a content and search strategy built around treatment intent, geography and referral behaviour. The site had to attract self-funded implant patients, reassure anxious visitors and give referring dentists clear pathways into the practice.

Solution

We rebuilt Alex Jones Dentistry on a structured WordPress stack, using a mid-tier package with full agency support. The site architecture separates routine dentistry from high-value implant and cosmetic work, with dedicated treatment hubs for full-arch cases, zygomatic implants and smile makeovers.

Each hub carries explicit explainer content, pricing guidance, FAQs and before-and-after evidence, written around the search terms people actually use when they are ready to book a consultation. Key actions are simple: request an implant consultation, send a referral, or call the practice directly.

Under the surface, we tightened page speed, technical SEO and local signals for both Barnsley and Penistone. Schema, internal linking and content depth position Dr Jones and the team as a credible choice for complex surgery rather than a generic “dentist near me” listing.
