Apple Vision for Digital Agencies – A Game-Changer for the Future
Today, I was out in my city, Manchester’s NQ, a place I always feel at home. My son and I had planned to do some co-working, but we ended up at Foundation Coffee House instead. With a drink in hand and a pastry on the table, I sat down, only to realise none of the people I’d planned to meet were there. A quick Google search revealed why—there are four Foundation Coffee Houses in Manchester! Lesson learned: I need to venture beyond the Northern Quarter more often.

Our next stop was Apple. Classic story: my phone was completely dead, as it often is for us with ADHD. So, we headed into the store, where I immediately noticed the Apple Vision Pro on display. I went to pick it up, only to find it stuck to the stand. “You’ll need a demo for that,” the concierge told me. Why not? I thought. Oh, and could they charge my phone while I waited? Efficiency win!
While waiting, I answered a few quick questions about my eyesight. Do I wear glasses? Are they single lenses? Prism lenses? I had no clue about the last one. Moments later, Pedro appeared, an Apple team member who also happened to be a masseuse—life’s full of funny coincidences. He wasn’t my original appointment, but we hit it off straight away, and naturally, I found myself giving him some quick advice on Google Ads.
We moved swiftly into the demo. First, I set up the headset with a process much like Face ID—scan your face, move your head. Easy enough. Then, Pedro handed me the headset and told me to press the Digital Crown button to start. At that moment, my world transformed.
Suddenly, text appeared in the sky—augmented, but it felt so real. I was surrounded by app icons floating in front of me, perfectly integrated with my actual environment. Pedro told me to select an app, and I instinctively reached out. But no, my eyes controlled it all. Just by looking at the app, it activated. “Now pinch,” he said. I lightly touched my fingers together, and Apple Photos opened right before my eyes.
As I navigated through my photo gallery, I was shown how to expand a photo to fill my entire view. Panoramic shots became immersive experiences with a simple pinch. The mountains stretched out around me, giving me a 180-degree view as if I were standing there. My mind was buzzing with ideas, especially about how much this could transform creative workspaces in digital agencies.

Then came the most jaw-dropping moment. Pedro pulled up a 3D family photo. The depth and clarity were mind-blowing—it felt as though I could reach into the scene. I looked around, and there it was, fully three-dimensional. Pedro went a step further and transformed a flat, 2D image into an immersive 3D one. The applications for visual content creation and client presentations were endless.
And then, a video. I wasn’t just watching a memory of a mother and child blowing bubbles—I was inside the moment. I could almost feel the breeze as the bubbles floated by. For digital agencies, imagine showcasing your work with this level of emotional impact—clients could walk through your campaigns, rather than merely watching them unfold.
The next demo had Pedro show me how to multitask. He opened several apps simultaneously and positioned them around my field of view. With a simple glance, I moved apps from one side to another, creating an expansive workspace. Imagine the screen real estate this offers—digital agencies could run multiple projects at once, switching between them effortlessly. No more being confined to a single monitor or toggling between apps. With this, your workspace becomes as wide as your imagination.
But it didn’t stop there. We dove into an immersive cinema experience, and suddenly, I was inside an IMAX theatre. The video quality was astonishing. Super Mario popped onto the screen, and it was as if I were inside the game. Apple then curated their own compilation of experiences—tightrope walking on a mountainside, baby elephants in a jungle, court-side at a baseball game, and more. It was exhilarating and deeply emotional.
Pedro showed me one final surprise: he turned down the environment around me and brought up a serene beach. The immersive environment was more than just entertainment—it became a peaceful, distraction-free space. For digital agencies, this could be a game-changer, offering a way to manage heavy workloads while maintaining focus and clarity.
By the time Pedro guided me back to reality, I didn’t want to leave. The possibilities seemed endless, from transforming workflows to revolutionising client presentations. Even now, as I write this, the potential applications for digital agencies are still running through my mind.
Some might be sceptical about the Apple Vision Pro, but I’d argue it’s a tool waiting to be fully explored. For digital agencies, it offers more than just another device—it redefines how we work, how we collaborate, and how we share creative visions with the world. The best part? You can experience it for yourself with a free demo. Let it inspire new ways of thinking about your agency’s future.
Am I going to get one? Sigh, I don’t YET have the full justification, but I’m looking for it!
Apple Vision for digital agencies isn’t just about a cool piece of tech—it’s about unlocking the future of creativity and productivity.
