Height safety website rebuild for serious specifiers

A WordPress Bricks rebuild which reorganised content around height safety problems and created a platform ready for SEO and paid search.

Client

Access Safety is part of the Kee Safety Group and supplies gratings, handrail systems and access platforms for industrial sites. The team works with contractors, fabricators and specifiers who need reliable, compliant solutions for working at height. When Kee brought Access Safety into the group, the website lagged behind the brand and behind the expectations of technical buyers.

Brief

Kee Safety wanted Access Safety brought in line with the group’s branding and held to the same standards as their other digital assets. The site had inherited content, a dated layout and no clear path from problem to enquiry. Our brief was simple: rebuild the site on WordPress, apply the Kee Safety brand, and structure the content so height-safety buyers can find the right solution and get in touch quickly.

 

The Challenge

Access Safety sells systems, not single SKUs. The old site buried key solutions, split information across multiple sections and made it hard for specifiers to see how products fit together. At the same time, Access Safety needed to sit clearly within the Kee Safety family without feeling like a clone of other group sites.

We had to carry an extensive, technical product range, highlight solution types and keep the build flexible for future campaigns, all within a tight group brand framework.

The Solution

We kept the existing URL structure so organic traffic stayed stable, then rebuilt everything behind it. The site moved to a Bricks-based WordPress theme with clean templates for solution pages, product groups and resources.

Navigation was redesigned around real-world use cases: working at height, safe access, platforms and walkways. This mirrored the structure we had proven on Oxford Safety Components, adapted for Access Safety’s specific range and Kee brand requirements.

Content was rewritten to lead with problems and applications, with Kee Safety equipment positioned as the backbone of each solution. The build shipped with technical SEO basics in place: clear hierarchy, internal linking between related solutions and product groups, and fast page performance ready for PPC and future group campaigns.
