Modern WordPress platform for North Manchester estate agency
A WordPress site built around featured properties, Rightmove traffic, and a sharper brand presence whilst prioritising ease of editing for a busy branch team
Client
Aubrey Lee & Company is one of North Manchester’s longest-standing estate and letting agents, with roots going back to 1952. The brief was clear: keep Rightmove at the centre of property search, sharpen the online brand, and make enquiries easier for buyers, sellers and landlords. We rebuilt their WordPress site around featured listings, local authority and a clean, fast user journey that matches how people actually buy and let homes today.
Requirements
Aubrey Lee already invested heavily in Rightmove and wanted the website to work with that, not compete against it. The site highlights a curated set of featured instructions and hands over a deeper search to Rightmove. That keeps day-to-day management light for the branch team while still putting the Aubrey Lee brand first in the journey. Our job was to design a structure and layout, along with some custom features, that made the journey from the website to Rightmove feel deliberate and seamless, rather than a jump-off to another platform.
Solution
A WordPress theme that sits cleanly on top of Aubrey Lee’s existing brand with some custom listing features. The CMS structure is simple enough for a busy branch team to update featured stock and content, without touching layout or design. The front-end keeps its recognisable yellow and grey, strips out visual clutter and focuses on legible property cards, clear calls to action and fast paths to phone and enquiry forms.
Result
The new website gave Aubrey Lee a focused online shopfront that reflects their standing in North Manchester and ties directly into their existing Rightmove presence. Branch staff update featured properties and content in minutes. Buyers, sellers, and landlords reach the right team faster through the channels Aubrey Lee cares about: phone, email, and valuation requests.
Made By Factory has worked with Aubrey Lee since 2013. Over that time, we have handled their website design, rebuilds and technical support while their team focuses on selling and letting property. For this iteration, the brief was simple: WordPress core for the Aubrey Lee brand, easy content updates, and a property layout that keeps things simple without clashing with Rightmove, making customers repeat their journey.
The Team at Made By Factory have always been helpful. friendly and take the time to understand what we need as a business. Our website is well maintained and tailored to our brand. I would recommend this small agency to anyone needing a web presence.
